CBN Holds MPC Meeting Next Week

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has announced date and venue of its next Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) meeting.

The MPC is an important body of a nation, which meets to give direction to other aspects of the government’s monetary policy framework.

The committee is headed by Governor of the central bank, Mr Godwin Emefiele, who most times addresses the media on outcome of the all-important meeting.

A statement issued by the apex bank disclosed that its 262nd MPC meeting is scheduled to hold on Monday, July 23, 2018 and Tuesday, July 24, 2018.

According to the statement, while the Monday meeting will take place by 10am, the one for Tuesday will hold by 8am.

For the venue of the two-day meeting, the central bank said it is the MPC Meeting Room, 11th Floor, Wing C, CBN Corporate Headquarters, Abuja.
