Dangote's Book: Police Arrest Former Diamond Bank Chief in Lagos

For allegedly pirating a book written by a journalist, a former Head Credit Analysis at Diamond Bank, Mr Paul Uduk, has been nabbed by police in Lagos.

The former Diamond Bank chief was accused of pirating a book titled Dangote’s Ten Commandments on Money.

The piece, published by Prime Sage International, Lagos, was written by Mr Peter Anosike, who works with The Sun Newspapers.

Dangote’s Ten Commandments on Money has been rated as one of the best books to have come out of Nigeria in the past one decade.

According to a report by News Express, Mr Uduk, who is the Chief Executive Officer of Vision & Talent, was arrested on Wednesday afternoon by operatives of the Nigeria Police in Lagos.

The author, trainer and public speaker was reportedly apprehended after a tip-off and was picked with two cartoons of books in his possession.

“He was arrested early Wednesday afternoon in his Ikeja, Lagos office by a team of policemen from Panti Division acting on a tip-off,” one of those who witnessed the operation told News Express.

“The books were packed in two cartons. The police team led by Inspector Kunle took away Mr Uduk and the books.

“They are currently on their way to Panti,” the newspaper quoted a source as saying.
