One of the veteran actresses in the Yoruba movie industry, Motunrayo Adeoye, has been reported dead.
She was said to have finally succumbed to a long battle with chronic ulcer at a hospital in Ibadan, Oyo State.
The woman was reported to have breathed her last in the early hours of today, Friday, June 1, 2018 and would be buried today according to Islamic rites.
The burial rites are expected to take place at her residence located at Akobo Ojurin, Ibadan Oyo State.
Business Post reports that the deceased is a relative of the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi. She is specifically a niece to the first class monarch in Yoruba land.
Mrs Adeoye graduated from Osogbo Technical College, Osun State where she studied Electronics before she later went to Switzerland for a 7-month course to acquire more knowledge about the profession.
