NSE Holds Disaster Recovery Failover Test May 26

The first Disaster Recovery (DR) Failover Test for the year 2018 has been fixed by the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) for Saturday, May 26, 2018 from 10am to 3:30pm.

The test is being conducted by the stock market regulator to ensure safe, sustainable and continued services delivered on the X-GEN trading platform and other supporting applicaNSEtions.

The test will involve X-NET subscribers, FIX/OMS subscribers, Trading Floor Brokers, NSE Branches, Market Data Vendors (MDVs) and Issuers.

According to a notice issued by the NSE, “This test will achieve a scenario where trading processing is lost in the middle of production and all connections are re-routed from the NSE Headquarters (HQ) to the Disaster Recovery (DR) site.”

The NSE has urged those participating in the exercise to “confirm the names” and also “forward their details to our Contact Centre via email at [email protected] or call 07002255673 should you have any further enquiries.”
