NASD OTC Market Closes 2% Higher

Trading activities on the floor of the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD) closed on a positive note this week.

Business Post gathered that the market closed its trading on Friday rising by 2 percent when compared with last week.

According to its weekly newsletter, the market capitalisation increased 2 percent this week, closing higher at N415.33 billion against N405.62 billion previously.

Also, the NASD USI went up by 2 percent this week, closing at 613.73 points, as against 599.38 points last Friday.

NASD OTC Securities Exchange currently trades Equity and Bonds. Of the 35 securities admitted to trade on the OTC Market, Friesland Campina Wamco Nigeria PLC both led the market by volume and value.
