The Nigerian currency on Friday remained unchanged against the major foreign currencies at the parallel segment of the foreign exchange market.

Business Post reports that the Naira closed the same rate it was traded against the Dollar, Euro and Pound Sterling.

Against the Dollar, the Naira was sold at N363, while it traded at N420 to the Euro, and was transacted at N473 per Pound.

This week, the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) released the sum of $195 million into the forex market to boost liquidity.

This intervention helped to keep the Naira relatively stable against the foreign currencies.
