Governor Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos State has announced the immediate suspension of Mr Yusuf Ogundare, the Baale of Shangisha in Magodo.

The traditional ruler was suspended by the Governor for allegedly faking his own kidnap last week in the state.

Mr Ogundare was paraded at the Lagos House, Ikeja, on Thursday, July 13, 2017, alongside his accomplice, Mr Mohammed Adams, who happens to be his brother.

The alleged fake kidnap took place on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 and was recently released after ransom was allegedly paid to his ‘kidnappers’.
