Corbyn Wants Theresa May to Resign after UK Polls

British Prime Minister, Mrs Theresa May, has been urged to resign after her party’s woeful performance at the polls yesterday.

Her main opponent in the elections, Mr Jeremy Corbyn, said it would be right for Mrs May to step down after her Conservative party lost some seats at the parliament.

Mr Corbyn said the early results showed Mrs May had lost her mandate.

After the exercise yesterday, a hung parliament was confirmed, meaning there was no clear majority among the parties in the congress.

The results seem to have put the United Kingdom into another political unrest after the Brexit referendum, which saw Mr David Cameron resign for Mrs May to take charge.

A former Minister of Finance, Mr George Osborne, had stepped down at the polls yesterday. She described the results as catastrophic for his party.
