NSE Honours Dangote at 60 with Closing Gong Ceremony

On Monday, billionaire businessman, Mr Aliko Dangote, clocked 60 and to celebrate it, the head of Dangote Group was given the opportunity to end trading activities on the floor of the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) with the closing gong.

On ground to celebrate this Mr Dangote were President of the NSE, Mr Aigboje Aig-Imoukhuede; Chief Executive Officer of the NSE, Mr Oscar Onyema; First Vice President of the NSE, Abimbola Ogunbanjo; Second Vice President of the NSE, Mr Abubakar Balarabe Mahmoud (SAN); and Chairman of Forte Oil, Mr Femi Otedola.

Others were Chairman of Zenith Bank Plc, Mr Jim Ovia; CEO of Access Bank Plc, Mr Herbert Wigwe; and daughters of the celebrant, Mariya Aliko Dangote; Halima Aliko Dangote; and Fatima Aliko Dangote.

Mr Dangote’s companies, Dangote Cement, Dangote Sugar and Dangote Flour Mill are among firms listed on the local bourse.
