Mrs Buhari Returns to Nigeria from Lesser Hajj

Wife of President Muhammadu Buhari, Aisha, on Saturday, February 11, 2017, returned to Nigeria from Saudi Arabia, where she went for Lesser Hajj called Umrah.

Mrs Buhari, on her arrival at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja, at about 3:15pm, was received by wife of the Senate President, Mrs Toyin Saraki.

Also on ground to return the First Lady were wives of Kebbi and Kogi States Governors as well as wives of the service chiefs.

Addressing journalists on her arrival, Mrs Buhari expressed gratitude to Nigerians for the support for President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration and also urged them to sustain the tempo.

”I want to use this opportunity to thank all Nigerians for the goodwill and support for my husband and Nigeria in general.” she said.

Also, the First Lady thanked “God for journey mercies” and said while away for the religious rites, she “prayed for Nigeria and Nigerian leaders.”

She urged all not to relent in prayers and good deeds for Nigeria to prosper among the comity of nations.
