Russian Governmental Scholarships Open for Nigerian Students

The Embassy of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Education of the Federal Republic of Nigeria have invited all interested and qualified Nigerians to participate in the nomination interviews for awards for Russian governmental scholarships in 2017/2018 academic year.

General criteria for eligibility, list of required documents as well as online application form are available on the web-site of the Ministry of Education of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

The Embassy said it would like to notify all applicants, that online application on the web-site of the Federal Ministry of Education is compulsory and must be completed before February 12, 2017. Aspirants without printed application forms won’t be admitted to further interviews.

Dates and venues of preliminary examinations for all registered candidates are as follows in the picture below and the time is 9am daily.

Final decision on the list of awardees will be taken by the joint commission composed of representatives of the Russian Embassy, Federal Ministry of Education of Nigeria and Association of Nigerian graduates of the Russian universities after personal interviews with applicants in April, 2017.

All applicants can explore educational programs available in Russian universities in 2017/18 at the official web-site for Russian Governmental Scholarships and register there a copy of application submitted through the web-site of the Federal Ministry of Education of Nigeria.

Please note that the process of application does not attract any fee. Therefore, beware of fraudsters.
