Education: Queen Wanda Monye Empowers Youths

Miss Ambassador for Peace Advocate 2017, Queen Wanda Monye, who recently launched her NGO and Peace Education Campaign, has kicked-off the education programme in Asaba, Delta State, where she reached out to schools in the state to educate students and share materials to them as well.

While speaking to the newsmen in Asaba, Queen Wanda said the project aims to motivate and inspire students in various schools.

She also said her Delta State Dream Big Project, a multi-faceted reality TV show that starts with reaching out to youths in the state, aims to train young entrepreneurs as well as awarding scholarships to selected recipients who prove themselves to be ready, worthy and hardworking.

According to the beauty queen, she will be reaching out to colleges, polytechnics, universities, social groups and others.

She added that potential beneficiaries would be selected from the music, comedy, movie, fashion, catering and event planning industries.

Queen Wanda further explained that after the selection process, the lucky participants will undergo training and mentored in their various fields.

She also said at the end, each beneficiary will be given cash prizes and the cost of their training and mentorship will be taken care of.

The beauty queen expressed confidence that the project will in no small way impact positively to the growth of Delta State.
