CBN Unveils List of Registered BDC Operators

In a bid to safeguard interest of the people and ensure those transacting in foreign exchange do so through the right channel, the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has released names and addresses of registered Bureaux De Change (BDC) operators in the country.

In the list released by the apex bank, there are a total of 3147 firms authorised to trade in forex in Nigeria and they are spread across the country.

The list, obtained by Business Post from the CBN’s website, indicates that the 3147 operators were those registered as at Monday, January 9, 2017 by the market regulator.
