The Director General, Office of Transformation, Creativity and Innovation (OTCI), Mr Toba Otusanya, has called on stakeholders in the Citizens Relationship Management (CRM) project to be more proactive in the discharge of their duties, saying it is necessary for the successful implementation of the project.

He explained that the CRM project is an electronic portal that allows citizens of the State and beyond to interact with the Government electronically, thereby minimizing visits to the Secretariat, Alausa, noting that it is a testament to the present administration’s commitment to technology as part of efforts to improve service delivery to the people.

Mr Otusanya made the call during a stakeholders’ meeting organized by OTCI to intimate stakeholders on their specific roles and responsibilities as soon as the project is launched.

According to him, the need for all the stakeholders in the project to come together and agree on clearly defined roles and responsibilities to be played by each of them was important, especially at this initial stage before the full commencement of the project to avoid conflict of roles.

While emphasizing that the major stakeholders in the project include the OTCI, Command and Control Centre, Ministry of Science and Technology, MDAs on the CRM Platform, First High Tower and Prepay Go, Mr Otusanya explained that to properly articulate the roles and responsibilities to be played by these stakeholders, there is need to first identify the various stakeholders involved and carry them along adequately.

The DG stated that on completion of the project which is still at the initial stage, it is expected that citizens would be able to carry out end to end transactions, make general enquires and receive feedback on services online.
