A five-man panel of investigation has been constituted by the Adamawa State government to look into activities of the Millennium Development Goals (MGDs) in the state since 2007.

At a ceremony held on Monday, the Deputy Governor, Mr Martin Babale, charged the committee to probe every allocation made to the state MDGs from inception to date and ascertain the money received from the Federal Government as counterpart funding.

Mr Babale, who represented Governor Mohammed Jibrilla at the inauguration of the panel, urged the panel to ensure a proper job.

The committee is headed by a retired Assistant Commissioner of Police, Alfa Belel, while Ayuba Tumba, Jim Audu, Shuaibu Babas and Musa Ahmed Gaude are members.

The panel has four weeks to submit its report.
