It was learnt that Kwankwaso’s house was sealed following an intelligent report that there was plan to conduct a mass wedding there.

The house, located on Lugard Road in Kano, serves as headquarters of the group loyal to the former governor popularly known as “Kwankwasiyya’’.

“We have directed our men to seal the residence because of an intelligent report that there is plan to conduct mass wedding at the house,” the state Police Public Relations Officer, Mr Magaji Majiya, said on Tuesday while confirming the development.

Armed policemen have been stationed to prevent anyone access into the property.
