The premiere of a new flick by Chief Femi Davies will be witnessed by some high profile Nigerians, Business Post has learnt.

A statement issued on Tuesday in Lagos, which was obtained by our reporter, said former Ogun Governor, Otunba Gbenga Daniel; Senator Ganiyu Solomon; OPC leader, Otunba Gani Adams; Araba Yemi Elebuibon; and Princess Toyin Kolade have been confirmed as guests of the occasion.

The new film, ‘A story Like Mine (Itan bi Temi)’, will be screened at the Silverbird Cinemas inside the Ikeja City Mall, Lagos, on Thursday, August 25, 2016.

“The idea of the movie premiere, which will open in cinemas across the nation from September 2, 2016, is to screen the messages in the movie to stakeholders, movie actors, movie marketers, and the general public who will later act as ambassadors preaching the ‘A Story Like Mine’ message,” the executive producer of the movie, Chief Davies, said in the release.

Chief Davies further explained that the concept of the movie is to call the attention of the society about the need to reawaken family values, domestic violence in relationships among other moral projections.

The film, which will also be screened at major campuses, was shot by Global Frame Productions at various different locations in Osun State.

Oyin Elebuibon produced the movie for Metronews Entertainment, the business arm of Nigeria’s foremost online news platform, Metronews Nigeria.

‘A Story Like Mine’ stars Yomi Fash-Lanso, Aina Gold, Toyin Adegbola, Bidemi Kosoko, Lateef Adedimeji, Oyin Elebuibon, LTK and others.
